Everyone typically experiences heartburn at some time in their life, but if it two or more times per week, it can be an indication of a more concerning condition.

Rectal Bleeding

If you’ve noticed blood in your stool, it can indicate an issue in your GI tract. Rectal bleeding should not be ignored, it can indicate a serious issue.

The more common causes can include hemorrhoids, anal fissures, colon polyps, Crohn’s disease, IBS, ulcerative colitis, and can also be an indication of rectal cancer.

Abnormal Bowel Movements

The normal bowel movements range from three bowel movements a week to three a day, or anywhere in between. More than three loose bowel movements in a day is considered diarrhea.

Three bowel movements or less a week is considered constipation. Both are regarded in the realm of abnormal bowel movements. Which can indicate Crohn’s disease, IBS, gluten or lactose intolerance, GI tract obstruction or blockage
